Born in central Russia, Mihail Burõhh aka Snipe has been on the move since he was 5 years old. His first exposure to rap came at the age of 11 during his stay in Israel, where local MC’s would capture the pain and fury of a weeping nation in just 16 bars. That, however, did not seem much relevant at the time. At the age of 12, Snipe was once more faced with the reality of leaving his life behind and moved to Estonia to start a new life. Having been so impressed with the genre, Snipe found passion in Rap music and took it upon himself to study the basics. From Pac to Biggie to Dre to Jay, Snipe quickly surrounded his days with music until it felt right for the young mc to start creating his own. From short punch lines written on a napkin, to poems and verses, Snipe would seize any opportunity to write. With the internet phenomenum underway, he was able to easily connect to other mcs around the world and begin to gain exposure to different styles of rap before finding his own. After 3 years of practice, Snipe managed to land a gig in the opening of a new club in his city. Just so it happens, his future managers were there to see the show. Having established contact, Snipe with the help of his manager, started to network and quickly found him a producer who would talk on the project. Krakk, born Kaido Põldma, gave Snipe an access to a studio and the fundamental vocal training which would help to push him towards his goal. With Estonia opening its doors to the Hip Hop world, many famous artists started to book shows in the city of Tallinn where Snipe lives. Thus, producing a meeting between Snipe and hip hop legend Masta Ace, leading to a collboration in New York city a few months later. A year later, Royce da 5‘9 and the mayor of Detroit Proof (R.I.P) came on tour to Tallinn, which once again led to a creative collaboration between the platinum selling artist Royce and Snipe. Day and night Snipe and Krakk would work in the studio trying to find a unique style and a signature sound. With his international exposure and experience and his eastern european background, Snipe realized the answer is to look back in his roots. Having found that sound, Snipe and Krakk created „The Premiere“ a slap in your face hip hop tune, mixing reggaeton drums and Russian Accordion. A month later, this very song won Snipe a competition which concluded with a record deal with Sony BMG music in Finland. Today, Snipe is ready to release his first album and his goal is no less than becomming "the spokesperson and representative" of European rap around the world. With a heart full of ambition and enough fuel to last the fire, this young MC has never been closer to his debut on Top of the charts.
