I am but an existence within this vast contingence of life. I hesitate for the moment For the moment demands attention I feel existence rising and surging within my veins The flesh demands attention the flesh. You are simply buried beneath your skin The huge billowing sacks beneath your eyes Like eggs What a catastrophy What a waste What a burden on your face. My hair is falling out I'm foraging amongst the locks I could pull out every strand and watch them fly away into existence And I would be content. For what I have lost is only a part of me that died previously. Every morning I wake up to a new face And I wonder 'is this familiar ?' The whole world has changed ! And the wallpaper has become stained even more. |
