[a]quare!! (akär!en) est né à Toulouse où il grandit. En 2oo1, il part poursuivre ses études à Montpellier. La bas il découvre le monde de la nuit, et fréquente notamment l'after mythique le BAR LIVE. C est à Montpellier qu'il s'est fait sa propre culture électronique. Principalement influencé au départ par la pop, la new wave, l'électro/house/tek; son goût pour les sonorités minimales se sont affinées aprés ses vacances au FIB 2oo4 de Benicassim. En 2oo3, il monte s'installer à Paris poursuivre ses études en communication. ce n'est qu'à partir de 2oo5, qu'il se mit aux platines, il prend plaisir à jouer et à accumuler les disques. Il rejoint le collectif No soup Paris Berlin Barcelone, regroupant LAOUET, JONA, PRISME, XIII NRV, FABSTER, Mr OnX. Aujourd'hui il affectionne tout particulièrement les sons provenant de la scène allemande, italienne, sud americaine...

[a]quare!! (akär!en) was born in 1979 in Toulouse where he grew up, Aquarell moved to Montpellier in 2001 to follow his advertsing cursus. There he was seduced by different night clubs, but one in particular : Le Bar Live, the mythical after-club. Totally swamped by its hyptonizing atmosphere, starting building his own musical electronic culture wasn..t just a pleasure, but a real revelation to him.
t first attracted by electro/electro techno/clash/new wave, his amazing musical experience at Benicassim..s FIB 2004 turned his style into a more minimal one. 2003 was the year to set up in Paris, and 2005 to enjoy mixing on turntables, and accumulating more and more vynils. He decides to blend his musical project with the No Soup crew..s. Nowadays, he..s especially fond of the new surge coming from Cologne, Berlin, Francfort, Barcelone or Madrid... without abandoning his standards.
